Wanda GágĪmerican artist, author, and illustrator Wanda Gág (1893-1946) is best known for her children’s book “Millions of Cats.” She was the oldest of seven children and was born in New Ulm, Minnesota, to immigrants from Bohemia (now part of the Czech Republic).
